i will tell u ok, paying for a grand for the headstone ok..... and then i have to pay over 200 for the lettering??? u think its wrong if i ask if he can give me a deeal?
it makes me so mad some people will think oh stop moaning and pay... but it annoys me how they do it.. could understand if i was paying 400 for a stone but a grand and they cant chip in a few letters???

It is a piss take to be honest, but they have you over a barrel....which makes it feel worse.

Shop around Kitty, show the design to others and ask them about letter cutting etc.
It's a business like every other, if one can get a supplier to send that particular design to him you bet others can.
Tell them your first quote and say you want them to better it... you have time on your side. xxxxxx |

Most stone masons will include a certain amount of lettering with a headstone the rest will be so much per letter then there are namm fixing etc that are now required in mist cemeteries. Shop around Kitty. Pity you don't live closer I know a stone mason who wouldn't rip you off. |
