Isn't it amazing how a bit of bad news can change so much! After weeks of waiting and being prodding and poked by doctors and nurses and specialists of all kinds, I received all my results, diagnosis or whatever you wanna call it, and all my worst fears have come true again 
Fucking hate hospitals, and I fucking hate bad news!
Sorry about the rant guys, kinda going it alone in 'nilla land and needed to vent! |

I really hope the understandable trauma your feeling right now soon passes and is replaced with an air of determination and optimism that will see you through to a full and speedy recovery ….

It's something I'd rather just get on with without involving them, unless I have to. I've dealt with it before, and I just find it easier if everyone around me is normal. |

Had a resenably serious accident myself a yr or so ago smashed my nose to bits an broke my skull also punctured my brain sack obviously not quite the same but had to go threw it alone so sort of know where your coming from. Now all the opps are over im pretty much back as I was except its changed me compleatly as 1 of the last things the the plastic sergeant told me was if I get another punch to the nose its will more than likely kill me. Its deffo stopped this gobby manc in his tracks. The thought of leaving my little girl scares the living shit out of me way more than death itself x |

Certainly puts things into perspective! The first time was hard, I have a feeling this time round will be harder, but there's worse off than me, just gotta get on with it!

I look at it like this .. We can give up and go down hill or We can be positive in our mind and think we will not let it get us down ... I have had some crap stuff go on too and I am going to get over all this and get strong mind and body and be positive. xxxHUGS XX |

I'm not going anywhere, I've had so much support already, it's just what I needed! And of course, there's a handful of my forum friends who are going out of their ways to help and be supportive! All your comments help and mean so much!

They kept me sane after a major diagnosis and all through a series of hospital stays.
I found waiting to find out was more stressful than actually knowing. Once I knew there was a plan of action to follow which was easier to cope with.
