Not sure how interested people here are in this but we are approaching the anniversary of the assassination of John F. Kennedy who was killed on November 22nd 1963.
Does anyone believe that Oswald was the shooter? That he acted alone. Polls in the US suggest anywhere between 60 and 80% of the population think there was a conspiracy at foot. Anyone agree with them? |

"Polls can be made to fit whatever you want, by how you answer the question,
I have never considered this question, JFK is outside my interest zones."
Yea I thought it was a bad topic to bring up in a UK chat room. Nevermind I guess! Also I seem to have misjudged "the lounge" lol |

Given the rifle he used, the distance of the shot, and the number of times he hit a moving target in such a short time, I cant help but believe that he wasn't the only shooter. Many highly skilled marksmen have commented that, even though Oswald was a trained shooter, the odds of him making one shot on target, are slim, two is pushing the boundaries of belief.
This then obviously brings into question the whole debate about a cover-up of some kind, and, as much as I hate buying into it, I think there was some form of conspiracy. |

I believe Oswald was part of the assassination but I don't believe he was a lone gunman. I'm a trained marksman and given the rifle he used, number of shots fired, number of shots on target, the fact that the scope he had fitted to the rifle was defective/poorly doped, the target was moving and he was shooting at a downward angle suggest to me he was either: A) an incredible marksman B) extremely lucky C) not the only shooter.
Given his position in the book repository he picked the worst shot he possibly could anyway. Any marksman who knows what they're doing would have taken the shot as the motorcade was approaching, making the deflection far easier to quickly calculate.
That being said, he could have just been lucky, I can't see it though... |

Well I'm interested, but you are so right when it comes to polls, which are, for the most part, totally bloody meaningless!

That's not true. And in a recent poll 147% of people agreed with me."
What about the other 22% |
