can fabswingers explain why they hold on to non active members when its so obvious they're not wanted here, i mean some of them show over a year since last login.

probably because the more members a site has registered, the more income from advertising. Also the site is a product, the more members registered, the more valuable the site is.

I've had some misleading members: they get all excited and when I go to climb on they disappear. That's misleading.

When I browse, I generally only look at the first page or two as a lot of profiles seem inactive, however I don't see why they should be deleted, it may be someone who's let their profile lapse while in a relationship and they could be back sometime so why not just leave them? End of the day, they're not causing me any grief so let them lie til whenever far as I'm concerned
