Nazi sympathiser in SS uniform does his shopping in Asda

Just read the story about this bloke who walked into Asda in full SS uniform. He has accused the Asda manager of racism when they threw him out of the shop.

What a knob!

Somewhere in North Norfolk

Maybe he should try going naked next time and tell the police they are discriminating against naturists when they arrest him.

The are laws against behaviour likely to cause offence and it's pretty obvious dressing in SS uniform in public is likely to cause offence.

So it seems it isn't just the uniform he is obsessed with, it is everything to do with the SS

Apparently he idolises Hitler and his house is adorned with his pics.

Amazingly, he is married with a kid.... whom he tweeted a picture of with his SS hat on!

Totally fucked up!

It's a catch 22 senario,,,,,

Feeding his desire to attract attention will just fuel his behaviour and that of like-minded idiots…

But ignoring it leaves them with the freedom of expression,,,,

Personally I'd just point at him and laugh...

Absolutely. Recently someone in Hamburg had a Hitler speech (rant) as a ringtone. His phone went off while on a train and he was arrested at the next station. You can't even have two S's or SA together on a car number plate here.

Am i alone in not being that bothered about it. Yes we all know what the nazis did and we should never forget but in this case its an indivudual with what seems mental health issues.

What if not done by the store would be invite the chap onto an office and not create the chance for the bloke to attract even more attention. The press can play their part by not making a big fuss but by doing so give oxygen to this type of belief.

I suppose you could look at this from a different angle.

Take one mass murderer (Hitler) and anything to do with him, symbols, uniforms Etc. are insulting and not tolerated.

Take another mass murderer (Guevara) and millions want his face on a T shirt.

I think it is about time that images of Guevara are treated the same way as anything to do with Hitler.

No. On body count Hitler was way in front, but tell that to the families of Guevara's victims. While Guevara's total was less it doesn't make him any less evil, and he murdered (not killed in battle but really murdered) many by his own hand.

There isn't much "German" history before Hitler. Germany as a country didn't exist before 1871. Even today Germany is a federation of 16 different states all with varying degrees of devolved power. The history of rise of the Germanic states dominated by Prussia is a good read though.

Yes n many thousands more in that position who are NOT Jewish AND millions of Jewish people worldwide who are just scraping along like every other protestant, catholic, muslim, Buddhist,Hindu, jainist, atheist n agnostic

"People need to move on ffs.

So what if he wore a Hitler uniform. That is history.

But recent history. There are people still alive who were in the Death Camps that the Nazis built. I can only imagine what emotions that would drag up if they saw an SS Officer buying his tea bags!

It's nothing to do with it being recent history. To any normal decent human being fascism is an abhorrent ideology. Anyone that endorses it is worthy of nothing more than total contempt.

I had a 12th SS Hitler youth uniform a few years back. It was field grey rather than the black the guy was wearing. I not into all the politics of WW2 and Hitler but im a reenactor and portray the Soliders life on the line during the conflict and educate the public on how they lived and fought. This guys a complete prick for doing what he did.

On the Blair monster I agree, as for Cameron, he is just a fool, not clever enough to be as evil as Blair.

This old CHESTNUT ALWAYS comes up. We have freedom of thought, expression etc precisely BECAUSE the allies fought against the precepts of Nazism. There was no freedom of thought permitted in Nazi Germany - disagree with the Reich n you were shuffled off to the gas chamber smartish - or shot where you stood. YES it may ALL now be history BUT we are all defined by history whether we wish to be or not!

By the tail end of ww2 even the German people were being offered up as canon fodder too

its not about 'fear' in the obvious context of what occurred..

its about recognising that for some, the sight of someone wearing a uniform they possibly last saw not on the telly was when there family were dragged off and butchered..

bit like not having pictures of child molesters on NSPCC posters..

you say your ex services yet you also say that soldiers in uniform are off to kill innocent civilians..

its either a total pile or your unable to grasp that a minority acting unlawfully does not portray the professionalism of the majority..

did you ever actually see any 'front line', as if you had you would know your soldiers killing innocents is ignorant, offensive and contradictory..

Strange world we live in

Not really. You failed to mention that she completed her outfit with fake blood. Can you honestly not see a problem with this ?

So can you honestly say she deserved death threats?????"

I'll answer your question - no. Will you answer mine ?

I think it's a strange world that you live in. Thankfully most people don't inhabit that space.

I'm not quite sure what you meant by barge pole so unless you explain I can't retort.

And where did I say she deserved death threats ? What a very odd thing to assume.

Sextoysrus, I know we're all different but you seem to me to have some strange ideas.

1. You don't understand why people are offended by someone going to the supermarket dressed in an SS uniform.

2. You have no sympathy for victims of the holocaust, but you do for victims of the Vietnam war.

3. You think Charlie Chaplin mimicking Hitler in the Great Dictator is the same as the guy in the supermarket.

4. You don't seem to have a problem with a girl mocking the people killed and injured in the Boston marathon bombing by dressing as them with fake blood on her.

5. You do, however have a problem with people putting her naked picture on the internet.

Some strange ideals there. But hey, as I said, we're all different

"

Last few wars have been unjust, yes maybe the true heroes were the ones in the world wars but i don't have to agree with all the pompnous that goes with it

I suppose it boils down to whether or not you find it offensive that someone chooses to glorify and dress in the uniform of mass murderers. Most do, you don't.

Me its fancy dress. I don't give a toss.its history.long long time ago.

Charlie Chaplin made a good movie, called the dictator.

Brlliant clip of it online on YouTube.the speech is that offensive???

Long long time ago? Ffs there are still people ALIVE who went through it hardly therefore a LONG time ago

I have more sympathy to the Vietnamese, Iraq children living with agent orange and phosphorus and depleted uranium.

Surely all innocent victims of war are worthy of the same sympathy?

No not really We are dealing with the present!!!

Yet a moment ago you were declaring sympathy for the victims of the vietnamese war - that's hardly the present is it?

because its all bullshit, always remember and can't forget what Hitler did but fuck what the so called allies have done.

"

The allies didn't START the war - they responded to it. What would you have suggested? Let Nazi Germany occupy us all n inflict their twisted morality on2 us too

I said its a strange world we live in if you can get death threats by dressing up.

You said that it was a strange world that I lived in.

Which is NOT having death threats by wearing something you choose to wear.

Thought we fought Hitler for freedom???

Seems to me you are confused.

"Just read the story about this bloke who walked into Asda in full SS uniform. He has accused the Asda manager of racism when they threw him out of the shop.

What a knob!"

If he had gone to Tescos they would have made him the manager...

1.I am not offended for it to be in a national newspaper. Its over reactionary.me personally don't see an issue with it.

2. I have as much sympathy as anyone else who dies, gets murdered, killed in tragic circumstances. But my sympathy can only go as far as I can help. I've been to bophar, Vietnam, war memorials, museums, bridge over the river kwai. Can't deny one over the other.

3. Yes I do. What justifies one and not the other. Same with swinging. See all these stars doing what they want in films getting naked but not in real life. Just look at it in a different perspective. Ones money the others belief.

4. She did a foolish thing and ended up having death threats. I see that as quite sick.

5. She put up pictures of her by her choice and free will. What she did is brave as much as we put up pictures of ourselves which in my eyes a brave thing to do.

If however someone had a vendetta and posted naked pics up in a vicous way then we would all be outraged dependant on your level of fear.

Could you be any more fucking offensive to this country's Armed Forces? It is not soldiers who start wars, it is politicians, Soldiers only finish them. And FYI the Iraq War finished fucking years ago.

most members of the Armed force don't finish lunch and think righto best setoff to wherever and use lethal force..

Their records, or accounts cannot be trusted..its called a conflict of interests!
