We're having a prawn curry for Christmas dinner this year. Are our fellow fabbers more traditional with turkey and trimmings or having something else? |

Spending Christmas day in my caravan on Ainsdale beach, inviting my mates with dogs and horses, we will probably have a one pot stew or curry, made day before and heated up. If your passing and see an xmas tree with flashing lights come and say hi x |

No, KFC isn't open, but the cheaper equivalents are, usually because they are run by people that don't celebrate Christmas. |

With you on that one peaches. Used to do a big shop and buy things I already had and so much fresh that it had to be binned. Now just make do with what is there and only buy the essentials. |

I always have goose when it's my turn to host the family at Christmas. Much prefer it to turkey. |

When shopping i used to nose in other peoples trollies and was gobsmacked at what they bought and the amount, and reckon half of it would end up in the bin not long after . I never ever went that mad and even i would end up wasting something...

If I go round a family or close friends house it will be a traditional Christmas meal.
If I get very d*unk the day before will probably skip that drink even more and get something on the night. |

"I hate to see people alone at Christmas....it actually breaks my heart.... "
Years ago when on msn groups, there were 5 of us all alone at christmas and we all decided to get together at mine.
They each bought something towards the meal and a sleeping bag and i have to say, it was one of the best xmas,s i ever had.

It riles me when I get invited over for Christmas, and not a squeak for the rest of the year. Sentimental tosh. |

It will be duck as I don't like turkey.
Used to have a goose, however, it is a bit too big for one person.
It is likely to be a pan-fried duck breast with a creamy sauce made with pink peppercorn, as I shall be camping and shan't have an oven big enough to roast a duck. Served with stir-fried veg and sauté potato and parsnip.
Starter is likely to be a baked mini garlic brie with toasted bread/focaccia.
Dessert is likely to be my own Tiramisu.
Can't wait!

I cancelled last Christmas's camping trip as it was raining cats and dogs.
Providing the weather is dry, I'll be camping from Sun 22 Dec to the following Sat, can't wait!

Having the big family christmas dinner at a local hotel, due to everybody's eating requirements the buffet they do is top notch. Plus it is all you can eat, so you still get the stuffed feeling you get from a normal christmas dinber at home |
