Noticed lately this phrase creeping into various stories and threads.
She/he was 40 but had the body of woman in her 20s or whatever age.
This is obviously some kind of lazy shorthand for conveying she or he is fit.
Yet, the last time I checked, being a certain age doesn't guarrantee you being a fitty. You can be skinny at 60 and a lard arse at 20.
Or am I totally missing the point? |

"you have used it your self on your profile 36 looking 26 ! pussy of 26 yr old sounds nicer yum yum"
Good point but I haven't said 'body of', it's that bit that really is the circle that can't be squared. Looking younger generally is a different thing.
To us anyway

Really Well if it adds to your joy just imagine a wrinkly old man with his hot water bottle in bed wearing pjs and typing away trying to be funny |

I have the body of a 37 year old - which I love much better than when I was 20.
As long as you love your own body then what does it matter what age it is? |

true have seen some 20 year olds who look like 50 year olds, most men just like 20 year olds though, what ever shape they are.
i was fit when i was 20 but some people said i looked older, because they expect you to look a certain way when you are that age.
i have met some very fit men in their fourties and fifties, maybe they have had a cushy life and looked after themselves. |

I don't think there's any particular virtue either way in any of these ages, it's best to be at a point where you're happy in your own skin. Saw an FB poster the other day which summed it up beautifully:
I wish I was as fat as the first time I thought I was fat.
Made me smile anyway.
Learning to love yourself and all that, it's much more of an aphrodisiac than bemoaning your body to others. |
