ROTHERHAM

The Mrs has gone off with her pals for the w/end & left me home all alone, awwww but to be honest I enjoy the time on my own.

I was wondering if anyone else enjoys there own company if it be for just a short-ish time, or wish someone would call for a chat cause you're going stir crazy in a empty house

When i was younger i hated being at home alone, even when i had my son to concentrate on. Recently (2 weeks ago) my daughter left home & to be honest i've really enjoyed the few nights i haven't gone back to Mrdolph's house. I watch what i want, eat when i want, fart if i want, and don't answer to anyone...

Not a bad thing.

Yeap, it's just me, myself and I every night....unless you count the cat, but he is no where to be seen, I think we just tolerate each other

I like my own company...I seem to have some of the most intellectual conversations that way...isn't that right Phooey?

Yes it certainly is correct Phooey

Oh the hours of fun I have talking to myself....shit is that the time? I'm overdue my meds

My job means I'm constantly surrounded by people, sometimes for weeks at a time. So when I get the chance for me time I relish it.

Sums up exactly how I feel. In my case I think it's something to do with being an only child.

Space and time, it's not just life, it's all existence. I pass the time and occupy spaces with people, I space out and make good use of time alone!

I've always loved my own time and space but then being a mum and wife I never got any so it was precious when I did! Now I'm separated and getting divorced, I have a lot more me time and funnily I hate it, when the kids r with dad I don't know what to do with myself! I'm on a steep learning curve to get used to myself and being me rather than someone's wife or mum. I'm sure given more practice at using the remote control I will find some tv to watch at least! Lol

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I've lived alone for 20 years and I haven't got bored of me even when I don't like me.

My work life used to be very external and busy so retreating here and not speaking to anyone was essential. Now that I work from home I enjoy the times I'm out and about and enjoy being here alone.

I hate being on my own. The OH is away for 3 nights and I feel so lonely, even though I have my child to keep me company and I can catch up on the million different programmes that I keep thinking ill watch that I've recorded on sky. I just don't like being alone.

He however loves his own company!

I really enjoy it. I wouldn't like too much time on my own but a bit of "me" teime is good. Can pick what you want to watch on tv, can wear your onsie, have a peaceful bath, eat what you want and generally pleases yourself

You and me both! I'm chatty and friendly but prefer to stay in small groups for as short a time as possible.

I really do enjoy being on my own. It may be because my whole working life involves interacting with people in vulnerable and highly emotional states.

I love my own company, but I always argue with myself and end up with 2 black eyes. Because I am always right, No your not!, yes I am.
