My cats ok with them, he used to sit on the window and watch them but do feel sorry for those with pets who are terrified.

Fireworks are about celebrations, animals pick up their owners signals, just close curtains, play music and chill out, most pets will pick up the fact that you are chilling out, I have dogs, horses and 2 cats, the horses will have their heads out of the stables, watching and following rockets, they are only scared if they cant see whats going on. |

I used to live in a village where a woman would knock on the door and bollock anyone who dared to enjoy fireworks because they frightened her horses. Proper head case. |

I always bring my horses in for a week when its dark around 5th November, they are out till about 2pm,
There are a very few sickos who are not responsible and could cause problems, but as responsible animal owners, its our job to ensure their safety and comfort. |

My pup has been ok he even went in.the garden looked at them and just came back in and fell asleep. Must be his gun dog heritage. He was woken at 1am tho by what sounded like a war zone that upset him but he's ok tonight fast asleep chilling on the sofa with me. I feel the same tho that they shouldn't be around for public to buy. |

"At least Diwali coincides this year so it won't be going for two weeks.
"
In Leicester, it usually starts around the middle of October and drags on until New Year. Any scared animals are soon over it! |

"Not when you have an abused rescue dog."
You can get tablets from the vets, sort of valium for dogs. I've had a dog that was petrified of fireworks and it isn't nice to see. My current dog
isn't worried by them at all by them fortunately. |
