Was just reading another thread about how people have to get their kids to set up / fix / alter gadgets.

my 15 yr old son can navigate with a map and compass, strip, assemble and fire three different weapons blindfolded, (Army Cadets) strip down motorbike engines, hack the parental controls on our PC, surf the internet and find info in a nano-second, set the video to record something days in the future etc etc......

So why cant the little bugger work the piggin dishwasher?

Humph...my eldest 27, is currently on business in Kadjistan (think that's how you spell it) on her own. During the last six months she's been to Singapore, Mauritus, Sierra Leone, Uganda, Kenya, Nigeria, Turkey, Russia, Jordon, Dubai...sure I've missed a few, but seems unable to tackle the tricky task of getting on a London bus to travel 4 miles to my house!!

My 10mos old son has started started walking his way round the sofa and looked so impressed with himself.

I told him, "you wanna impress me boy, go get a fookin job!"

Only another 15 years and 2 months to wait for that one. (If you're lucky!!)
