Just because I used to live in Livi....

Scotland has been named the 3rd best country in the world, by The Lonely Planet. You guys were beaten by Brazil at number 1 and Antarctica at 2.

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

Scotland is lovely. Shame about the Scots though.

Yorkshire also got named:

Yorkshire has been named as one of the top places in the world to visit in 2014 in a new travel booklet.

Lonely Planet put the area third in the top 10 world regions, behind destinations in India and Australia.

Well if you've managed to fit a few cathedrals, a seaside town or two, and a National Park in there, who knows?

I'd love to visit Scotland. There is some amazing wildlife and countryside up there.

I've been to Edinburgh once but I was too hungover to appreciate it lol we had a lovely gala dinner at the natural history museum though.
