According to The Lonely Planet's hotlist, Yorkshire is the 3rd best region in the world.
First is Sikkim in India and 2nd is The Kimberley in Australia.
Oh and last month Yorkshire was declared 'best place in Europe' at some travel awards.  |

Yes, and to be honest Lonely Planet is the de facto travel guide for hipsters and 'travellers' (ie unwashed tourists in tie-dye) so not sure they're the best recommendation. However, Yorkshire is lovely, and not bad to live in either. |

Whats the difference between a Yorkshire person and a coconut? You can get a drink out of a coconut!
Is it true that the Home Office closed down the only forensic sgience lab in Yorkshire? A spokesman said there was little point in having one as the population of the white county all have the same DNA and no one has their original teeth?
Runs to the big hill over the tops back to the red county............and we are better at cricket! |
