Google the antibiotic you are on and alcohol. Most, not all, are ok with alcohol. One no, no is flagyl. Obviously doesn't mean you can drink a bottle of jack Daniels on them though |

Frustrating thing is I only drink at weekends and was looking forward to a cold beer or 3 tonight after a tough week. |

Many of the 'dont drink alcohol' warnings are in fact a myth that dates back to WWII and soldiers on leave getting re-infected with the clap while d*unk. There's actually very few antibiotics that are affected by alcohol. Even then you should be fine with a moderate amount. |
