"Yep dressed up in my witches attire pot of sweeties flashing lights and a skeleton in a feather boa.. had to turn off the lights as no sweets left.. one little boy offered me his stash.. how sweet. 
love it !! have made a few parents laugh and a few kids scream when i opened the door with a cockatoo on my hand  "

"I think they are just about done for the night now... at least I hope so as the bowl is just about empty.

Yes and I'm loving it. The kids are so sweet and they all have parents with them. And every single child has said 'thank you' without anyone reminding them. I'm a bundle of smushy smiliness. I love the community spirit. |

the best one for me was a baby in her mothers arms. reach in the bag pulled 4 or 5 out in one swoop lol. her face was a picture. told the mum it was fine as she was about to take the sweets back off her in inbaressment (can't have that)  |

Had 5 small children in wheel chairs attracted by the flashing lights and pumpkins, they all cam in the barn, and cuddled some puppies and stroked the horses, to see the smiles was priceless. |

I agree much better than locking the gate.. well worth it the kids must have loved it. |
