I'm a fairly patient person. Appointments running late at the doctors or dentist etc I'm not pacing up and down getting annoyed. I don't mind queuing for things etc.
BUT deliveries to my house of things I really really want when they haven't given a time just the day and now it's 3.15 and still no sign when my friend got hers at 7am!!

I completely get the OP - I am very patient with people, patient to the extreme. I am not pacing in surgeries either.
But when I have been given a delivery window of one or several hours I do expect the delivery to happen in that window or at least a phone call that it is not going to happen and a reschedule to suit me!  |

Nothing worse than waiting around for something or somebody to show up, at least they didn't tell you they would be there at 7am, and not show up. It is a pain when they don't specify a time, if you pop out to the shop you can almost guarentee they show up and you'll miss them. |

I was out of the house for 4 hours this morning. Was convinced id miss it but had to go out as had other appointments. Should receive a text to say its nearly here but nothing yet. |
