I'm not a fan of Peter Crouch, but think he should be in the team, he seems to play well for England, I think the guy interviewing him yesterday said Crouch has scored 20 goals in 37 games for England, then asked if he should be getting more starts.

The stats say yes he should be there.

I'm a Liverpool fan and when he signed for us there was a fair bit of fuss, coz he 'looked' like he should be playing for one of the more traditionally direct teams.

However, it amazed me how that guy managed to keep possession for us, NOT by heading or chesting down the high balls, but by always using those long legs to just toe poke the ball to a team-mate when as it looked like he was about to lose control of the ball, thus drawing defenders out of position. The guy's an under-rated gem.

a Primark shoebox in Leicester

I know he scores goals n all that… but I just find him so unsettling to watch when he’s running around the pitch. It’s like watching a new born antelope (minus any cuteness) its limbs took too long and you can’t help expect it to go arse over tit any minute in a knotted mess of legs. Not a terribly objective review of his football skills I know… but true nevertheless.
