Everybody knows the song by the kinks, if you don't you tube it. Its a classic. Little known fact Jimmy Page played on that track as a paid session guitarist, before joining the yardbird. I love the solo in that song but there is a debate over whether it was Kinks lead player or Jimmy that played the solo. What do the fab folks think? |

It's an urban myth. Page himself has said he didn't and Shel Talmy (the producer of the track) also said he didn't. The reason they hired page was to play rhythm guitar because Ray didn't want to play guitar and sing at the same time but he did play the solo. |
