It is so predictable, I call myself fat and my inbox is flooded with men trying to flatter me by telling me I'm not fat I'm beautiful. Do they really think I was born under a Christmas tree?

I am fat but I am also beautiful. This flab on my belly is fat! Fat is only an offensive word if people turn it into one.

You do actually make a fair point, this is what a number of guys think, especially a lot of the guys on here. However what they think & the reality is very different. Most of the fat girls on here (or the ones that use the forums anyway) are very picky and would pick no sex over a guy that see he's doing his bit for charity & slagging the fat bird out if charity.

The ones that annoy me are the ones that flatter you, want to meet you but as soon as you meet in public, start making excuses. In other words happy to be with you behind closed doors but heaven forbid they are seen in public with a fat girl

People's size has NEVER bothered me - a nice face counts for a lot. My weight has fluctuated all over during my life from an eating disorder in my early 20s when for daft reasons I felt I had to keep my weight down

I've ballooned between 9 n half stones n 17 stones so I've been everywhere on the spectrum!

I don't like the word fat. It has too many negative connotations (fat, ugly ****, fat, lazy ****). It's curt, harsh, monosyllabic and just not a sexy adjective to use on a site where you want to portray yourself in the best way without deceiving anyone. I'm not going to jump on the 'say it like it is - I'm a fat bird' wagon. I know I'm fat - and not proud of it - so I prefer to convey that information in a low key way. In my opinion (and it is only my opinion) giving the direct 'I'm fat' comment almost has an invisible 'and what of it?' tagged on the end. It's almost confrontational. If I want to describe my body type I opt for saying I'm a large woman and give my dress size. But as we only play in clubs, people can see me in all my wobbly glory for themselves - so as far as our current profile goes, I don't feel the need to say anything at all about my size.

A lot of physical attributes can be portrayed factually - but in doing so, can paint that person a more negative light than is necessary. For example, I can't think of many women who'd like to state on their profiles 'Hi - I'm fat with cellulite all over my arse and stretch marks all over my stomach. Want to meet me?' - it may be factual but it's not sexy. The word fat isn't sexy and this is a site where people are trying to live out fantasies and indulge in kinky fun. Surely most would want to create a sexual image of themselves that is factual without being blunt.

Feel free to say you're fat on your profile if you want, but I'm increasingly getting undertones from some people of 'if you're fat say so and if you don't you're in denial'. I'm not in denial but I refuse to fall in with the current trend for bluntness because that's not who I am.

Not to me, we're all different, size, age, colour etc. It's only offensive if you make it offensive, some don't mean any harm by it but it's the ones that set out to annoy you by their snide comments that piss me off.
