Just saying: and not looking to start a war of the sexes (make love not war and al that x) in late August there was a very tongue in cheek post on here by a man asking 'were all the fab mums looking forward to the kids going back to school so they could have daytime meets/fun again?'
Rightly or wrongly poor bloke got his head ripped off.
Thing is I'm seeing quite a lot of women's profiles atm cursing the half term coz it means they can't meet in the daytime.
Just something to ponder and I am only reporting facts not anything 'just as I see it' |

Same applies to that then .. I said something on that thread because he clearly said looking after his children was stopping him having fun
I feel for those that say they hate the holidays because they can't have sex !!!
I have to wait 5 - 6 weeks to even go out because I put my daughter first
I can see me having to lay down in a dark room

Can't remember the post verbatim. I didn't pay the OP that much notice tbh. Don't think he was particularly damming towards his kids though. Hence it was defo the fallout from it that caught my attention.
The profiles I'm talking about are defo out there atm though |

if its the post i remember, was it not him cursing his luck because the teachers were out on strike and he had to cancel a meet because he had his kids??

putting sex before your kids is never a good idea, and from your posts im sure you never would/do.
as for the holidays, V hates them with a passion, not because she cant have daytime meets, but because all her family expect her to babysit as they go out to work, so she can have upwards of 15 kids each and every day at her gaff.

I (stew) work from home so look after the kiddlywinks in the school holidays, I dont do the daytime sex thing unless its a thursday as thats Donna's day off so for that reason I dont fear the school holidays, I do however fall way behind on work as im the referee of 3 boys, alls good in nice weather as they are always out but when its raining its a full on massacre here lol, but I wouldn't have it any other way  |

Don't think it was the strike. (Which I enjoyed coz it gave me a golden opportunity to have a few quality 1-to-1 hours fishing with my youngest). As I say it was just asking if fab mums were looking forward to the kids going back to school so they could fcuk in the daytime again.
He did try to answer his critics by saying it was only a light-hearted post. But by then what notice were the burning flairs and pitch-fork brigade going to take of him? |

Well I've been looking forward to half term especially as I've been out of work I have pretty much been on my own most days for the last 8 weeks.
And now it's here, the children's dad is having them for an extra night (tonight) meaning I'm on my own for another 24 hours now, and my parents don't get to see the kids in term time so want them there for usually two sleeps in the holidays. They are going on Wednesday and coming back Friday.
Even my partner is working away.
If I was a social butterfly I'd probably love all this free time, but I'm not. People say I'm lucky for the child free time, and the kids do love going to visit family, but I miss them and am basically lonely.

I remember the post, I felt a bit sorry for him really as I think it was just his way on joining in on the forum and wasn't actually suggesting that people were desperate to ship their kids out. I took it light hearted the way I think he meant it. |

Don't think the poor bloke's been near the forums again. And who can blame him?!.
We'll never know but I hope he sorted a meet or two out. |

When I first separated and took the kids back to mum and came back home to an empty house it was like they had left a gap bigger then the Grand Canyon. With one thing and another (one being meets via this site) thankfully things are very different now for me.  It only takes two or three days of not seeing them to remind me what's really important though |
