correct, they are not bald at all. All different colours of hair, just like us. The slaughtering process calls for them to be dipped in boiling water and the hairs removed. All a bit nasty really

they aren't bald, haven't you ever seen pigs out in the field with little piggy wigs on...that's where the term piggy wig comes from

There is also a charity "Keep a Pig Warm" and they are even now asking for people to knit little piggy coats for them to we we we wear all the way home

Not all pigs are pink but the pink ones just have very fair hair so they still look pink!!

pigs are lovely, intelligent creatures. They like to have their backs scratched and are very affectionate.

That may well be but they can also be very dangerous. Said to be one of the most efficient ways of disposing of human remains.

I have never been real close to a pig (after seeing the Hannibal Lecter film) so I am not 100% sure but they sure look bald from a distance. Why dont the farmers give them coats like them little doggies get?

I think about a lot of things and do wonder why they are let freeze. Did they save Babe pig in the city cos he was bald apart from a tuft on his head?

In Your Bush

I knew a butcher called Mervyn, and he told me they used that magic powder stuff on them, before they were chopped up.
