Men put up profiles and you look one day and they are XX age then later its a different age! Do men have memory loss on age on fab? |

It is very true!!!
THey will message on the profile it will say 47 but in the message they say they are 54!!!!
Fabs updates it automatically when its ya bday so thats not the reason.
Moind you in saying that - think i am aabout 80 at the mo as did it for a joke and dont think i have changed it back!!!!
Doesnt stop me getting messages from 21-57 year olds tho!!!

I met a verified man once .. his profile said he was 39. So when I turned up I was quite shocked to see a man who clearly was not 39 and wondered how he managed to get verified genuine - he admitted he was 47 |

Apparently only men lie about their ages Met a lady once who after admitting she'd been 39 for as long as she could remember (so basically, add5 years ish) she had the gaul to ask me why men mess her about and can't simply be honest |

Some women do but from what i have been told the men seem to be far worse. I was tempted to reduce mine but think while i am still mid 30's i am still appealing to women  |

Great thread !! we know of one couple who celebrated her 50th birthday but has gone back to being 47 ! lol... and another couple who we met nearly 5 years ago (when he admitted to being 51 ) and now he`s 49 lmaooo
Dunno why people do it....for the record Halo nearly 49 and Horn 50 in 2 weeks ...honest to God , cross our hearts |

And that's why men lie. I've met men who are 45 but have 39 on their profile. One of my playmates is 55 but his profile says 47. I thought he was fibbing about 55, how he hopes to convince anyone he's younger amazes me.
Sadly I'll be 50 this year, I can't believe it, don't like it, but pointless lying about it! |

We're both 40 somethings and happy with that ... no need to lie. Oh and polo hunni there's no need to exclude wales from the advances in modern living, we've even had indoor toilets for a couple of years now ..... |

I was 52 just about 2 weeks ago, and had a huge social with 150 fab friends to celebrate.
I don't care how old I get, as long as my legs still reach round a guys neck and the zimmerbrain hasn't got so bad I forget what to do when that happens, then I'm gonna keep on having fun!
I only discovered swinging at 50 so reckon there's loads more for me to discover yet! And I'm never short of meet requests, so live it up as long as you wish people and fuck old age away! |

I am 47 and happy with it and don’t see the point in saying different. You might not get chatting to someone who your out of their rage but better to be honest in the first place as you will get caught out later. |

We don't think its just men,after all your never supposed to ask a lady her age.
Women of 50 plus will still be inundated with requests to meet,as long as they've looked after themselves and look good.
However there seems to be this magic barrier of 50 for men, as far as some women are concerned,no matter how well the guy has aged.
They seem to view it as the "past it" age.
Unfortunately,my "past it" age was 20.  R

I'm 70 but I found that when I was truthful about my age, only 85 year-old women (who were all claiming to be 65) showed any interest.

i actually think id have more joy on here if i put my age up a bit

On the age thing I find the opposite often happens too, we get mails every day where I am 15-20 years over what thier maximum is on thier age criteria, as soon as we mail back pointing that out and that because of that we won't consider meeting we get a mail back saying they are happy to play with old gits  (maybe not in those words)
But it is too late for us, it makes me feel like "last man picked for the football team cos they had no choice) |

When we first joined the site, I had a different age to my real one, I had myself down as 34 where as I am 37. Reason being, when we first joined we was more cautious than we are now, so we tweaked a little until we felt comfortable here, now our profile states facts. |

I have to say that I am tempted sometimes to lie about my age, partly because I usually get told I look a few years younger anyway, but also because many women will judge me by my age. In all honesty I have been a very late starter when comes to sex and relationships, spending a lot of time observing and learning from other people before I finally got a chance to put any of it into practice. In many respects I feel more like a guy in his 20s than one almost ending his 30s, and i certainly find myself drawn towards younger women when it comes to relationships (as opposed to just sex) because I don't yet have kids |
