Hello Chyllyphylly,

" Where do I go now when I need to write a birthday card"

Screwfix is the answer, if you have a local one, plenty of pens on their catalogue shelves.

Barclays Banks used to have loads of pens, and a sign saying help yourself to a pen. I haven't been in one for a while but still have loads of their pens...

And it just so happens that Screwfix is a stone's throw from Argos in Halifax

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

Who was it that used to talk about being naughty in Argos with the pens?

With keyboards disappearing for touch screens it's hardly surprising the humble pen is being phased out.

I do worry about the germ transfer on touch screens though. My little stylus doesn't seem to work on the ones in shops.
