Myers Briggs is a well known one that is based on Jungian psychology. It is one of many derivatives and you come out as a particular personality type eg ENTP - that result is not set in stone and your personality can (and often does) change with time, eg an extrovert can become more introvert. |

I've done a few in the military when I was younger. The ones I did were to measure mental stability under stress.
The only ones that were hard were the couple that were built into physical tests (didn't even know there was a psychometric element to those tests until long after I had completed them).
