Was getting in my car to go to hairdressers and my neighbors are out talking to an old lady. They call me over and say she's lost and confused and tell me to deal with her as im a nurse. Fine no probs. Take in my house call the police make her a warm drink snd wrap her up. She hasca box of medication with her so ring the pharmacy to get her address. Police turn up after half hour. Eventually they locate her son and bring him to mine. He doesnt even say thankyou. Judt says wheres her bag, I tell him she only had her purse when I took her in. Anyway they leave and just as im getting in my car he comes round the drivers side snd says wheres her credit card. I dont know ssys me. He loojs in her purse again and says its ok its here. Thought you might hage raken it. Cheeky bastard. |

He may have been worrying about his job, especially if this has happened before. It's no excuse for his rudeness though.
Your help made a great deal of difference to the lady and she would no doubt be very grateful if she were in a position to realise, even if he wasn't. |

Wow your neighbours are real jerks too telling you to deal with it.
And as for the guy yeah she must do this all the time but a little bit of courtesy. He was probably worried about the credit card as he is maxing it out for her. What a dick. |

Sounds like a totally obnoxious person, so what if he's been called out to collect his mother, there's no need to be so rude to some person who has taken the time to ensure the safety of his elderly mother. He showed a complete lack of manners to someone that has shown compassion and decency to his elderly mother. I would have told him what a prick he was...

"He needs to get a medi bracelet for her with contact details.
And some manners for himself. "
That's harder to put in a medi bracelet.
At least this was a proper, justified Thursday rant. |

Some people are cheeky, ungrateful, bastards!
The most important thing is that you helped out the old lady.
I'm sure she'd say thanks if she could
Nurse or not, what you did was very kind |

Better halfs mother has now started wandering, taken to locking doors, garden gated secured but every so often father in law forgets. But as you said he should have been grateful not obnoxious. |

Firstly well done you for having such a big careing heart, not sure why your neighbours dumped the situ on you.
Second given what is seen in society nowerdays i am not surprised at his reaction. Whatever happened to taking care of your elderly in their days of need |
