I'm not impressed with anyone swearing a lot personally.
In my opinion they're pretty thick if they can't use the English language to express themselves without every other word starting with "f"! Also feel the same way about people who write in text and abbreviations.
That's my opinion any way! |

I am old school (ie old git) I try not to swear in a womans company, I do think swearing shows a lack of vocabulary and an ability to convey your words without resorting to swearing, it is a thing children do.
I do however live in the 21st Century and accept that swearing has become more of a way of life and is much more common than it used to be.
I still don't think that uncotrolled swearing is something we should be proud of but you have to accept that it is a way of life now.
It is my personal opinion so feel free to swear at my post all you want if that's what floats your boat |

I have worked in factories since 1992, and have picked up swearing since then.
At work I swear mainly in the company of others who are known to swear, usually behind closed doors.
When out and about on the shop floor or in meetings, I don't swear, as it would be considered as unprofessional.
And I don't swear in front of children, and I do not use the c word!
I guess I am not as lady like as some would think I am, sorry! |

My Polish friend absolutely loves swearing in English. She spent several years in the States so she pretty much knows all the swear words but she still loves learning new British ("Breeteesh") obscenities and expressions plus stuff from the Urban Dictionary (like 'Cincinnatti Bow Tie'). All of it comes out with a strong Eastern European accent. I love it!

I like my woman to be a lady by day, demure in the evening and a tart by night but I guess thats me being a dinosaur
Swearing as a whole I find crude but it has to be taken into context, the situation you're in and where you are.
If I've taken a woman out for an intimate meal, I would find it unacceptable and a turn off for her to be swearing so that everyone else could hear, different if she's whispering sweet nothings tho. Also hate women or anyone for that matter, swearing in front of kids.
But living as a dinosaur in the 21st centuary, swearing has become acceptable which is unfortunate.
It all comes down to personal morals I guess IMHO

I swear more in written type than in real life but i do have a habit of calling someone a complete twat. I also say what the fuck. Jay and i stayed in a posh hotel and with him being a bit posh he said to me if your going to say what the fuck make sure you say it quietly lol |

I swear like a trooper anyway so it would be hypocritical of me to criticise a woman who swears but.... I don't like women swearing, but it's ok during sex. That's pretty fucked innit lol |

Mr Rugby is put off by women swearing constantly, an odd word is acceptable for him.
I do swear when having sex, but he doesn't mind that, which is just as well because I didn't realise I did it that much until he pointed it out |

It does make me cringe when i see women out and about in general, like shopping or pub lunch etc who are effing and blinding.
Even more so when there are kids present.
I swear alot more than i used to - but thats cos its not got the naughtyness or shock factor anymore, and when everyone else IS doing it and its not naughty - its very easy to slip into using that type of vocab too,
Bit the same as when you move to a different region - its easy to pick up and start using the lingo without realising you are.
Like usually attracts like - so you usually only up being friends with people who are similar to you anyway.
Same goes for playmates i suppose |

A little is fine but streaming a long line of 4 letter words is a turn off. |
