Now the other day I was at the doctors over my chest infection the doctor gave me what I needed then he asked me if I've always been tall and are my parents or siblings tall etc and asked me to have a blood test to see if I have any excess growth hormones I did ask what relevance this is to my visit he said none at all and I did say to be honest I'm 35 now I don't think I'm going to grow any more his reply was fair point. Today I have had a call from the surgery nurse informing me she has had a request from the doctor I saw asking her to contact me regarding requested growth hormone blood test to arrange it lets just say she got told where to shove her needle!! Ok I'm 6ft 4 with size 12 feet and hands like shovels BUT at 35 years old I've stopped growing years ago don't ya think??? what they gunna do put me on a fookin boil wash? stick me in a compressor? maybe give me some of them shrinking pills??? |

No I doubt a boil was is on the cards, but anyone outside the norm, weather height, weight etc is an interesting case for a doctor who may be writing a paper or doing research,
You never know, at some point in your life you may be in a position to need help. |

Lol I have a friend like you who went through all that bother when she was a teen. She's only about 6'1" though.
She asked, if she had too many growth hormones, then why did she have small tits? haha |

Ello Ello Ello Police Constable Grammar. Does it matter?

It was a joke, it amused me, nothing matters, I'm sorry police inspector takes everything seriously, I made a spelling mistake in my post, etc ...

I'd make a new appointment with GP, to discuss this issue only. Then you can get to find out what you want, what her/his thoughts are, treatment incl risks etc. At least then you're making an informed decision, before blood tests etc. |

Excess growth can be a sign of a tumour or disease in ur prituary gland. This gland also produces many other hormones and so could lead to other problems in the future or a link to other problems u have now..
excess growth can be a side effect of another underlying problem..
not always good to ignore a doctors concern and sounds like that dr knows their stuff about growth. |

All joking aside. I'm not sure if you are into camping? But don't do it in the winter, if you have excessive growth. My cousin Arthur got frost bite on his toes, from where they stuck out of the tent. |
