Firstly I'd like to say that terms like ample and large are somewhat demeaning and shouldn't be available as an option when selecting your body type.
Curvy; is open to intreptation and what I can see is subject to a broad spectrum, no pun intended!
Where should curvy start and end?
Obviously anyone can rightly call themselves fabulous, that's more of a personal statement of one's self-image rather than a quantifiable body shape or size.
This is a genuine topic of discussion, not a dig at anyone in particular so please don't misinterpret this post. Thanks! |

Best thing to do is to look at a persons full body photos and decide if it is for you or not as labels don't mean anything a s they can mean different things.
For example I have seen skinny men who describe themselves as athletic due to being able to see the stomach muscles, they think it is classed as a 6 pack, personally to ME they aren't athletic as even I have a 6 pack under my fat. |

Plus there are some chaps on here describing themselves as athletic that I wouldn't recognise as such. Darts athletic maybe |

Oh dear, these threads never end well....
Don't think there is a scale where curvy starts and ends.
Curvy is more a shape than a size to me.
I choose to describe myself as curvy, some will agree and some won't. That's what photos are for.... |

just out of interest why do you find ample and large demeaning
Im big built so I put ample but if ample was taken off what would I put? |

I chose large to describe myself because I am large. And yes I do have curves but they're not all in the right places. I would feel that I was being misleading if I put curvy.
I don't think either the term large is demeaning. If there was an option for beached whale I might raise an eyebrow. |

No they don't as the op usually has some ulterior motive as they can't be that thick they can't work things out for themselves with their own eyes...but maybe I give too much credit! |

These threads get done to death so you might find it wise to do a forum thread search before you post sometimes as it will save you and others repeating themselves |

Can you think of any others? "
I think just plain old fat does the job but if you say to people your fat they see you as one of those fat birds with a chip on their shoulder, when really im not (honest read my profile it don't say jog on anywhere lol) I'm just blunt and to honest some times, but if you put BBW the anti fat brigade jump is claiming why should you be classed at beautiful just because your fat so you cant win really, so I think ample or large do the job fine, its middle ground, don't sound aggressive dont sound like your up your arse for being fat

There is no clear definition as we all see things differently. If one person holds a full length mirror and another looks into it the person looking into the mirror will see that image in a different way to the one looking over the top of it even though its the same. |

Curvy is a shape not a size.
If your built like a barrel and dont go in n out then maybe you lost the curves....straight up n down no boobs n bums no curves...but hmmmm what if your belly is bigger than your boobs that could be classed as curvy.
Ahhh hell i dunno |

You are what you eat they say but I don't know what you eat to become fabulous. does it really matter though as its just a general self assessment. |
