i have just watched sporting great programme on itv 4 about James cracknell
this man is amazing
a double Olympic gold medalist
rowed the Atlantic
walked across Antarctica
highest British finisher in the marathon des sables
and since 2010 has been coming back a serious brain injury after being hit by a truck in the USA
what a inspiration

Total legend. Not many people weighing in at over 100kg run sub 3 hour marathons. He's attempted the LEJOG record as one half of a tandem and is a non too shabby triathlete.
Always thought it was a very brave move to retire from competitive rowing at the very top of his game to look for new challenges.
