Further to a previous topic re username and images google shows i did this and even though my privacy settings are set so as to not show on google etc.
Your posts are viewable on google and in turn your profile can be accessed by one and all.
You can still see posts and threads even if logged out but you cannot then open individual profiles unless logged in.
My fab life is exactly that private and this information being public concerns every user.
I have asked admin to investigate and with luck will be rectified very quickly and so instead of staying logged on as i currently do i shall now log out when not using it. |

As I said on the other thread, check your settings. I checked mine and my profile does not come up. Someone with a similar does but they are offline.
Threads/posts have always been accessible as far as I am aware. |

My settings are set to private too but when you access the posts you can then get the profile info which is i do not want making public. |

I can see the problem. Mine only appear if I type my name and + Fabswingers. I don't have a problem being found on here but I won't have a full face photo publicly available because of the ease of reading the threads externally.

You would have to be a member to see posts or even avatar pictures.
I just googled me, nothing, unless I put in also fabswingers next to it.
I can only see three threads it brings up, and if I wasn't logged in, I'd not be able to see the posts of avatar. |

Threads come up and show the avatar blurred.
If they try and click on the profile, unless they are members they dont see pics.
To get it in a google search you need fabs user name and the word fabs.
If they already know of fabs (to include it in the search) and they already know your user name..... then they could simply join fabs in under 2 mins and do the search for your profile and see your pics properly.
