So I'm off on me Hols next week, and thinking I may get waxed, never tried it before because I've heard it hurts, and I don't like pain....so which would you recommend? ( the least painful suggestions please) :
- the hollywood
- brazilian wax
- French wax
what is the if between them all?? and is there any more?
what does everyone suggest as the best?
is waxing down there better than shaving or cream??
thanks xx

I personally like Brazilian as it leaves a little bit of grown-up woman rather than the completely bare one but it is personal choice. I also find it infitintely more tolerable than the Hollywood (all hair removed) which I only ever did once...(still in therapy over the pain it cuased!;-) |

Oh my, was it that painful?
So no Hollywood here then, I have a low pain threshold!!
So, it's either the Brazillian wax or the French wax then. What is a French wax? Do they use garlic? |

When I get waxed I go for all off.. I hate having any hair dow there...
Never found it any more painful than leaving a landing strip or just having a bikini wax..
I think it depends on who is waxing you and how competent they are |

It's like taking a sticking plaster off your arm.
If I were you though I'd have someone do it that uses Perron Rigot waxes as these are designed for intimate areas.
Also, if it's your first wax leave more than a week for it to settle down. I couldn't touch my first wax for minimum 5 days - at all!
I'm on my 3rd wax now though and it's a lot less sensitive, and it doesn't hurt as bad doing it either actually |
