Wow! Wonderful! Opens up possibilities (I'd thunk). Living in The Sticks, it's only fair to offer to cover some mileage myself, too.
For some reason I haven't been taken up on it. Meets so far have taken place at my house, and I am yet to visit someone else's place. Are people loathe to give out their address?
I am rather choosy about whom I want to meet, and that often works against me - lots of mileage.
As a result there are massive gaps in between meets.

I've been writing with someone for months. He found it quite far to travel, as he's mostly on call for his work and we both would like to take our time. No problem - I offered to come to his house. He rather came to mine. Stalemate.
Friendship discontinued.
The above scenario is not an exception. |

Well say if you are will his, I have to ask why? okay some time people are not ready to let someone in their home. A hotel does not cost a lot if you both pay half. |

Not sure what your 1st sentence says lol. I can't accommodate as have grown kids. Why he can't accomodate is not my business.
Not a lot of cost is cheap to 1 person and a weeks shopping to another lol |

I agree 100% to that last sentence. £30 to my b/friend is nothing. To me it's a 1/3 of my rent! |
