Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound |
I don't like Travelodge beds but I do like Premier Inn.
Friday night I had a lumpy bed at my hotel but last night at the Crowne Plaza I had the best bed I have ever slept in. Even better than the Number Bed.
What's your favourite? Do you notice your hotel beds or just too busy making them lumpy to care?

I like a bit of elbow room as once i've finished taking advantage of my OH i like my space. No lumps and like a previous poster i love my memory foam mattress. My kids fight over who's gonna sleep in it if i go away for a few days..
ps, i don't leave them home alone

I know what you mean about the high ones. I have to slide off them to get up.

The hotel i've booked for the 2nd will be fucking comfortable!
...The best though i've ever stayed in, was probably a pub in Kent.
The room cost seriously, £50 quid and it was amazing!
Four Poster bed, solid oak, awesome room.
I would have expected that to be £200 quid plus per night and that would have been worth it.
£50 it cost. I couldn't believe the value. In fact on check out, I told him a room like that people will pay good for money for.
Also the Hilton in Reading is pretty good. (thump)
I stay there a lot with work.

I don't play in hotels but for business and pleasure Hilton and Marriot's are ok, just find the rooms too cold. |

I will probably end up booking that I just thought Thumper could find me a gem with a four poster. I might be persuaded to try tying up with a four poster. |

I like a Marriot but the Crowne Plaza bed was better than any I have had in a Marriot or Hilton.

If memory serves..

Travelodge are doing their hotels up and putting in new beds. The old beds were mostly really crap. The new beds are brilliant! The new decor rooms are nice too. |

Now you know that has just piqued my interest. Get out of hiding and spill the beans."
Another good way to rate hotels is on the quality and cleanliness of the their towels.

My bugbear is hotels who claim to give you a kingsized bed which turns out to be two singles made up as one bed.
Which means you sleep at one side or get a terrible nights sleep due to the ridge down the middle. |

I'm with you on that one. What's the point of a big bed when you can't use the whole thing? |

There is nothing worse than lying across a bed for a massage and finding you have a lumpy bit in the middle.

I haven't really liked the beds at Jury's.
The beds at the Rafayel (not a chain) are good but let down by the pillows. They really let the whole room down.
