The last few weeks I have noticed that I have been experiencing my own climate change in that I get hot a 'glowing' all the time.
Combined with my afore mentioned grumpiness I think I might be going through the change |

Either that or you have a mild viral infection or something.
Have you changed anything, lifestyle-wise? Change in diet? New medication? |

Well I'm trying to eat better. Carbs have snuck in again after about 6 months. I'm actually doing less exercise than I was a month ago but that is going to change. |

I used to have horrendous, hot flushes but the nights where the worst, i used to wake up so wet it was like id been in the shower, went on for a couple of years. Found out it was a symptom of my prolatinoma not the change and since ive been on the meds its stopped.
Hot flushes can be the symptoms of any hormone changes.
Dont forget you have changed your diet lately as well |

I started going through the change 10 years ago, yes I was/am young but had it all confirmed by the GP...
I only get the occasional hot flush now and then, saves putting the winter duvet on |

Some can go start going through it from their mid 20s, and unfortunately not finish the menopause completely until late 50s/60s. Hence I have always been a moody coobag |

Could it be the carbs? I feel shit when I have too many. Maybe just a food allergy or something. The doctor would be able to do a test and hopefully help. |

The way this thread is going (wrongly) what started out as a genuine request for advice ends up being something totally different. Never go online and ask others for advice or you will get the Yahoo Answers Syndrome - "I know a man whose brother had a friend at work who knew someone who was chatting to a lady who was discussing the very same (insert symptom here) and they ended up needing (insert medical procedure here) but turned out that (insert complication here) which in turn (insert second diagnosis here) and they ended up needing (insert corrective surgery details here)
See your Doctor. You'll make yourself Ill going down the wrong path and getting stressed about what will jowl fully be nothing to worry about at all.
I've made the same mistake in the past and in redtrosoect decided never to consult the 'grapevine' again for such personal advice.
Rant over!
There y'are .....
Next question..... |

And an inaccurate Google at that. You've already had about six differing "prognosis potentials" already and all wrong or at best - optimistically subjective ...

Evie, it could be a variety of things. If you note down your last period and go to your GP he will most likely take a history, run a few blood tests, test your thyroid and hormone levels and go from there. I very much doubt you're menopausal! You'd usually first notice menstrual irregularities (if you're not on hormonal contraception)if you were having an early menopause x |
