do you feel your expectations, not only on here, but in life, are realistic, or do you reach for the stars and are disappointed with constantly failing to reach them? |

Yes
my expectations were that i would be more mobile than i am , after my op .
And im very disappointed that im not and its not for the want of trying.
Sooooooooo i have to wait for my other operation and hopefully i will start the new year on a stronger footing........so to speak.
Mind you......
Im fed up with it messing my fun up so im gonna do my best in that area...even if im still limpy   |

I'm with OP - reach as high as you can - it's the only way to live by testing yourself . Yes some days you will fall flat on your face but you should dust yourself down and aim for even higher next time |

dont get me wrong, i dont aim for the stars.
i look up at them from the gutter and know exactly where i belong, my station in life and my aspirations, whether they be open ended or limited.
im happy with my life, at this moment in time, and dont really have any aspirations to move any higher.
im happy with the status quo |

I'm very rarely disappointed because I'll always be grateful for what I have.
We joined fab without any expectations to meet, it took us a while to arrange something and we've only played with one couple but it was a fantastic night so we aren't disappointed!!
My life hasn't turned out how I thought it would but I'm not disappointed, I'm mum to 2 amazing kids and have the most fantastic husband, it's more than some!
Don't see it as glass half full or half empty, just glad to have some in my glass |
