does ageing bother you ??

bristol

as i get older i have noticed that the amount of time i spend on fitness has increased massively ...i now spend between an hour and 3 hours a day exercising since hitting my 40's .... not sure if this is paranoia at getting old or not but i never felt the need to do this when i was younger although i did always exercise

I'm happier about myself now than when I was younger. I dress to please me not anyone who may happen to judge me, I feel more comfortable in my own skin. I was a very awkward teenager/younger person

Hmmm. It depends.

I'm far fitter now than i was 20yrs ago, just done a 32 mile loop on the road bike at an average of 17.5mph - with a sprained ankle. However, its taking longer and longer to recover both from exercise and injuries. I'm finding i have to work harder just to stay at the level i was at last year - each year in

Getting older isn't bothering me anymore, it may have done a few years back but that was before I had a brain fart, nowadays I embrace each day and treat it like my last.

Anyways, I may be 41, but I have only just started to get teenage spots hahaha!

I'm almost positive that I'll be 42ish at the end of the month, I don't keep track of my age really, I feel as young as I ever was, and the more fun I have the younger I feel...at this rate I'll live indefinitely!!

It doesnt bother me either, cant stop it so why worry about it.

Hair is having a race between going grey or dissolving entirely ( about neck and neck at the moment)

Bits complain about getting up or sitting down and the list of things that annoy me seems to getting longer each day.

Aging doesnt bother me in the least, i dont look old for my age which im happy about. But ive started to age over the last few years. Prefer the quieter life and getting more set in my ways and enjoy my own company more.

Maybe i will start thinking about it in 20 years

I look older, feel older cos I am older than most people on here.

NO can't say I enjoy being older but nothing can do about that so just tough.

I think most people's current attitude to it not bothering them may well change when they get here

Yes I know this feeling well. While I'm lucky not to look my age, I am aware I'm physically feeling it a bit more. This year has been a write off running and cycling wise just because of niggling injuries that I've struggled to shake off. And I've never had massive problems losing weight previously but it takes a longer stricter effort these days.

It's one of those things you can do sod all about - so not worth stressing over!

A bit like traffic jams, ever increasing petrol prices, waking up to find no milk for your coffee and only one cig left in the pack!

Ageing is inevitable.

Growing up, however, can easily be avoided!!

Yes it does.....

I am more comfortable and happy in myself than when I was younger. But I don't like the crow's feet and grey hairs etc.

Plus certain injuries seem to play up more, the older I get.

Ha Ha I found my first grey hair at 16...

However my Mum went grey early and my Dad went bald early so I was quite pleased that I was going grey not bald at 16.

We can't stop the clock so we just have to accept the changes that are happening. If it worries you, you're going to be a long time worrying.

Have to say i am coming up to 46 at the end of the year. Been dyeing my hair for so long because of the family gene of going grey early. I'm out of shape, but 6 stone lighter than i was 20 years ago.

I'm also living life, enjoying myself, answerable to nobody, and mostly happy with my lot. Bring it on

ps, i like silver haired gents, very sexy xx

I would like to stay where I am now for a bit. Simply because I feel more mature in some ways and more appreciative of life and people now than ever before.

Physically, I would not say I am afraid of getting older as there is a lot one can do to remain as fit as possible for as long as possible.
