So someone on fb posts something about something bad, such as 'my dog has been knocked over, I gave it a proper burial ', do you show your support by liking the post?
Or are you like me, may leave a comment or say nothing?
PS, no dog has been knocked over |

i dont like the idea of everyones lives being written about on the internet anyway so personally, i would probably be sarcastic about it.
if your that sad then why would you be on social media.
i just dont get the modern day world at all |

I used to be like that but I have the most amazing friends that I have met through facebook. I used to call them my internet friends as I didn't know them IRL, but through good times and bad they have been some of the most consistant.
I have met quite a few of them now, inc peeps who have visited from Oz and USA.

I'm on facebook, and so are other people I know, but I cannot divulge whether they may or may not have posted messages about things that have happened to them. Or indeed my responses to those postings, if indeed I made any. |

cool, and fair play to you.
i just dont know how people can have, like 300 friends.
i dont think i have met 300 people in my entire life, so how can people have 300 friends, and give a flying fuck about half the things any of them say? lol |

"I have all privacy filters on on fb and the only friends I have on there are actual real life friends. So if they post something about their life I might comment."

No I wouldn't like a post about a bad thing. I use the like button if I like something, not as a show of support. |

I've got 300 friends,if I was on Facebook,I wouldn't have any.
People posting complete piss, would just aggravate my natural leaning towards sarcasm.
Ffs I'm so intolerant,

Social media has changed my life,
I work on line and use most sites for my business.
Rather than have 100 people looking in my high street shop window, I now have an audience of 440 million people, who can look at me. If 1 in a million actually contact me, I am a happy bunny.

An old friend of mine who likes to wrap herself in popularity recently lost her dad. Despite the fact she stopped speaking to me and never came to see me years ago when I was clinging to life by the skin of my teeth, I inboxed her some useful advice. In a friendly manner. Be fucked if I'd go out of my way for her ever again after she turned her back on me, though.
Still, the statuses came thick and fast for about two months, about how she's so alone (she was always the complete opposite of alone), how she didn't know how to live without him (right alongside all the new happy smiley photos of her going to visit celebs at conventions and going to music festivals with her many friends), and that she just couldn't get through a day (or a weekend when she was out partying all the time). It stopped being about her dad after a week. The rest was about the attention.
Everybody has the right to sympathy, but nobody appreciates an attention whore. Some Facebookers just dont see the connotations in regard to their lives when every single detail is splashed all over the wall! |

"I have never had a facebook account used to use twitter quite a bit before I joined fab. Hardly go on it now."
I could live without it if my friends in the States were here or I were there. |

I think banning facebook is a bit harsh... the site can be used for so much good, personally its the attention seekers that get on my nerves " oh im deleting my account tommorow" and " i have now moved on from my ex" Which they clearly havnt!!! I think people post wayyyy too much personal information on the site then moan that everyone knows their business!! |

I am not of fb.
I do have friends in Oz, USA, Angola.
And hallelujah - there is Skype and Yahoo Messenger. No need for fb. *mouthbleach* |
