Just read that the violin played to calm the passengers down as the Titanic was sold at auction for a million pounds
What piece of memorilla would you like to own ( not necessarily as morbid as the above ! )

Check out Rick Neilson of 'Cheap Trick' fame, he's a great collector of Guitars and has some fabulously expensive ones.

The single worst guitar I ever played was one of the fabled '59's. The neck was off and the nut was so badly cut that the intonation was out by a mile anywhere past the 5th fret. The price, of course didn't reflect the piss poor construction, they still wanted six figures for it. |
