oh come on, these are our future king and queen, nice to see a little about them now and then.
It is one thing i like about Britain, some one to make us proud that we are still a monarchy, even if only in name.
They make more for us in tourism than they take in so called handouts. |

I think they're great. They (and Harry) are going to do brilliant things for the royals. Good on them. I wish them lots of happiness. |

Not getting into a royal argument as we've had it all before
Some like them .. Some don't
My point was merely about how millions of people in this country do marvellous selfless things in every day life and don't get a mention
Yet someone from the royal family plays 10 mins of volleyball in her heels and its headline stuff
Why cant they show some real stuff
We had the itv awards last week showing some remarkable people ..totally inspiring .. Don't se enough of that in tv
General every day folk doing good things despite the hardships they suffer |

totally agree that there are some remarkable selfless folks within our society that do loads of good stuff and go beyond what is expected..
trouble is the 'celebrity' element now covers many aspects of society..
people literally buy into it, why else would wives of footballers be copied by high street stores as do some within the Royal family..
cos folk buy the copies of the dresses, imitate the hairstyles, buy the magazines etc..
part of the reason why the media will use every chance they can to show these people..

I think all the young royals are a credit to us. Kate and william the future king and queen make a lovely family unit. Harry and his nando,s. Not just the royal engagements they do but all the voluntery charity work. Think harry is going climbing some mountain with a volunteer group so he can experience it first hand. I dont think there is one bad egg in the young royals |

I know all about economic hardship, my own fault admittedly, but i am here with £5 to my name till the end of the month.
Heating by electric means i have to be careful how much i spend, and i am on a key meter so no cheap deals for me.
But i still think that this constant moaning about how the government is doing nothing to help is pointless. they need money to do things, and we as a country have none due to labours mismanagement and the economic climate at the moment.
a few happy news items is better than constant doom and gloom all the time.

I may suggest that Williams skills including highcaliber flight abilities perhaps trumps the skills of the critics who can only boast filling in a bookies slip ...or similar....so nappies no problem  |

I find it hilarious that news people think we are so stupid - as if William was left minding the baby -- doubt if either of them ever mind the kid, and army of nannies paid for by us idiots will be looking after him. As I said when he was born - another mouth to feed and sponge off the state for the rest of his life. |

The benefit of a Royal family or otherwise will rage on and in the past has caused a civil war.
In my life the Royal family and its patronage has no significance at all its an irrelevant and out dated form of superstition on the same lines as religion and witchcraft. Those for it seem to think it has a fiscal benefit to the country..........I would ask those who are in the poverty trap how relevant Wills Kate and the rest are, in real life they are simply irrelevant? |
