I get Facebook, I kinda understand Twitter, I'm creating a blog on Tumblr, got pics on Flickr....

But what is Google plus meant to be? Anyone use it?

Strangely, it is actually the 2nd most used social media site but I think that is because it is automatically linked with a Gmail account (which everyone who uses Android owns along with everyone with a YouTube account etc). Most of it's benefits as far as I can tell come from SEO as Google pretty much control the web at the moment hence why you see just as many +1s as likes on optimised pages.

I don't actually use it but it is here to stay and I strongly suspect it will actually outlive Facebook (people are slowly getting sick of Facebook).

No I don't. I am on here and Facebook and don't see the point in being on anything else. I used to be on loads of websites when the internet was all brand new to me but stopped bothering with it all

Google+ should have taken over all the rest by now and I thought it would, the attractive feature for me is the circles you could ad to your circles one for family one for work one for friends and one for swinging, that way your mother, boss, vanilla friends never have to ask you what a mmmmmmf greedy girl event is lol

...... it is here to stay and I strongly suspect it will actually outlive Facebook (people are slowly getting sick of Facebook).

Plus Ones and use of it are significant factors in getting front page ranking on Google
