Life is NOT like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're going to get?

Well. On most decent branded ones a wee legend of the contents is supplied. So the analogy is completely accurate.

And another thing. I recently saw Tom Hanks and asked for his autograph. Know what he put?....

"THanks"

Cheers Tom

The Green Mile is outstanding. Saving Private Ryan is also a superb movie.

He is a good actor, to go from the stupid films he made early on like big, then into some Rom coms and then the serious films like green mile and castaway, plus forest Gump, very talented guy

His son on the other hand is a terrible actor

Did you see what he did to the guy passed out in a bar?

He took the guys mobile off the table and took a load of photographs of himself and the guy in question.

I thought it was really funny..

No that ain't the plot.

I personally don't like the film not my sort of film but I've seen it and that didn't strike me as the plot....

The book's way better, far more bitter, cynical and just downright bawdy in places!!

Zemeckis just turned it into a schmaltz-fest!

I love Forrest Gump, its in my.top 5 but even though she had a shit childhood to put it midly Jenny treated Forrest awfully for half the movie. The real love story was Forrest and his son thats the best bit

For me only Denzel Washington comes close to being consistently brilliant in everything he does

You need to watch some films with Daniel Day Lewis in them he's by far the best actor still at the top of his game.

Just an after thought..

Does Forrest then get HIV as a result of Jenny having HIV... or did she contract that after sleeping with Forrest?

I was watching it at 1am and was kinda half asleep at the time lol

It's never confirmed it was HIV in the film (never read the book)

Hanks wasn't the first choice to play Forest, John Travolta turned it down.

Can't imagine anyone other than Hanks in the role though.
