Is it any good?

Does it drain you battery?

Can you set up a username or do you have to give your number out?

I use whatsapp and have found it to be pretty good. It was simple to download. Once downloaded it simply transferred my phone contacts to its own list and showed which of those had whatsapp.

I use it for texting sharing pics and videos and it now has a verbal message facility which can be fun to leave a surprise message.

It's real benefit is it saves money when sending pics etc to a mobile on a different network to you or from an iPhone to a non iPhone user.

You have to give out your number. But iPhone and android have blocking capabilities now to get shot of unsavoury characters lol x

Oh forgot to add haven't noticed it draining my battery mind you switching an iPhone on is a battery drain in its own right

I use What's ap all the time, its so simple and easy to use. Kik however hates my phone and crashes it x

Yeah I always use it. I hate the standard text app on my phone. It's rubbish.

I had kik on my other phone. Wasn't too sure about it.

Kik drains my battery more than whatsapp. X
