It's coming up to upgrade time. I currently have the 4s,

Do I go 5, 5c, or 5s? What does the S do that the 5 doesn't? The main thing that pisses me off is the front facing camera being totally crap on the 4S x

Btw I don't need advice that's 'don't get an iPhone. lol. It's def an iPhone just a case of which one.

You can only get a 5S - sport or a 5C - coloured but crap now!

Personally I would have a grey 5S. But if you want a 5C they're equivalent of the old 5.

Enjoy. And agreed. I would only ever have an iPhone

Thats what im getting in december. The s is always an upgraded version. It started when they rush to get the next one out. The s is always the tweaked version. If you want a colour just get a case

Main differences are it is faster as it has a better processor. The camera has been improved, it has fingerprint technology and comes in different colours.

Or you could leave the flock and try android. Its overtaken iPhone's in the ease of use stakes now. It will take some adjustments but once you grasp the os you will never go back. I know as I've done it. They are way better once you get use to them

technically...you shouldnt be able to get a "5" offically.. as they have been discontinued...

so the choice should really be between a 5c and a 5s.......

My contract was up last month and although ive had my iphone 4s for years.... and dare I say havnt dropped it yet, I just went onto the sim only deal for £6.90 per month which is a £30 per month saving!

Thanks but no. I'll stick with my iPhone thanks. I don't want to have to get used to a different phone. I can link it up with my iPad and my dads mac and it just makes life easier that way. Which is why I said I don't want anything but iPhone

There's supposed to be huge blue screen bios issues and they wipe all your music if you havent bought it from the applette store.. iphones; not for me, they're made for commercial lemmings. Get an android and discover freedom!

I'm well aware that some android can do better/more than some iPhones nowadays. One of my best friends works at CPW and goes on and on at me all the time to change to an Experia. But having had both iPhone and android over the years and used both that belong to others I prefer iphone.

if you are upgrading on a contract and keeping the same number, you should be able to get a good trade in value for the old phone towards the new one....

I've got the 5s which was an upgrade from the 4s. The wife has the 5 and to be honest if your looking at the 5c then you might as well get the 5 as it is basically the same phone but with different case. The forward camera in the 5s is better and the rear camera has had an upgrade. The fingerprint scanner makes it quicker to unlock and to purchase apps. No need to keep putting the password in each time. Apart from those and the slow mo video not a lot different in speeds between the two 5 types.

Don't go with 5, several design faults. I wa to know what model doesn't have them as apple know what the faults are, but said they need many people to mention them before the do anything about it

Anybody noticed any faults with the iPhone 5?

it is.... but all the cheap deals are always tied to some sort of contract.... whether that be a new contract, or upgrading (which you are still tying yourself to a new contract of some sort)

you will never find a really cheap good smartphone sim free because they still have to make money on it.....

Thanks , googled it and the "budget iPhone" was all just a rumour, they never actually said they were making a budget phone and they never will!!! But, when I looked on the Apple USA sight, they have them down as $99. On the UK site they are £499. ??? How does that work ? Still confused ??

because the 99 dollar phone are still subject to a contract... (in the us they are actually normally 24month contracts)

that 499 pounds figure is a sim free phone, however I have seen them being given free with certain uk 2 year contracts......

Just put your CDs etc on your laptop and then into iTunes. Don't think you can do it without iTunes but its free. There's prob some apps you can get music from too x

I don't know if this interests you but you can shoot at 125 frames per second on the brand new iPhone so you can get footage that's fives times slower than normal speed

I do involve iTunes. It's free and easily downloaded. What I said was I have never purchased anything through iTunes. We have over 100g music 20 films and numerous TV shows in iTunes and they go on all our various apple devices but none of them were bought through iTunes.

It's very easy to load your CDs or DVDs on there. I get my children to do it.

That's what we do, only benefit for purchasing iTunes is the cloud feature so you don't have to have disk storage. Saying that we currently have a 1.5TB media library in ITunes on a iMac which distributes to 3 Apple TVs, audio speakers (via airport express), two iPods, one iPhone and one iPad

Having said that, netflix US snd UK on the apple TVs and and Netflix UK on roku are generally replacing the video part.

we upgraded from the 4 to 5 in feb this year but only just started to use the 5 its a lot better and faster than the 4 and battery lasts longer, cant comment on the s model

Upgraded to the grey 5s and chuffed with it so far.

Was wary the 6 will be out in about a years time so went with 02 refresh which means after a year i pay £300 for the handset but get the 6 and the 5s is still mine to sell so all in shouldn't be that much out of pocket.
