Just been told to dial 141 before the number you are calling to withhold. Now I know this is what you do from house phone but does it work for mobiles?

Depends what phone you have, i have samsung galaxy s3 and it wont do it, you have to change call settings .... depends on your mobile?

Ok thanks. I've just done it think it worked. Mines a Samsung too but the galaxy ace 2.

Yes it does. However you can't save 141 before a mobile number and save it to your phone.

Nope, it's a network thing not a phone thing. the make of phone won't make any difference.

It works on mine (orange contract)

It works on my daughters payg bb (orange)

It works on my 'drawer phone' tesco payg

and I know someone on 3 with a bb that it works for also

Easier to change your phone settings to withold the number anyway, depends how many pervy calls you are making really. ...

There should be a way of withholding your mobile number in your handsets settings
