Today marks the annual wave of light taking place from 7pm. This annual event marks the loss of a child. Anyone who has lost a child knows the feeling. Please light a candle at 7pm and let it burn for at least an hour in remembrance of all the little angels who are no longer with us in person but are always here in spirit. Thanks for reading this post any questions just ask |

Having lost a child nearly fifteen years ago, I'll be lighting a candle somewhere peaceful.
I'll also be lighting it to mourn all the other children around the world who did not have the good fortune to be born in a prosperous country like ours, and so paid for that misfortune with their lives ... including all those who have starved to death despite a worldwide glut of food, those who have succumbed to the misdeeds of large corporations using bonded labour and banned chemicals to rob developing countries of their resources and those terrorized and killed by US drone attacks.
I will mourn every single one of them, as I do every day. |
