I think its only the national sport in Scotland out of that list?
Biggest under achievers in the UK are The English Football team.

it will be the usual. We will struggle to break down 11 Polish men stuck inside their own penalty area. We will limp into the play offs with a 0-0 or 1-1 draw.
*Secretly hopes it is 12-0 to England* |

We will make it difficult for ourselves because it's the way we do business. After last weeks performance I fancy Townsend to bag one early in the second half, with a follow up from Rooney later on!
2-1 England, C'mon boys. |

I disagree, the FA must be one of the wealthiest FA's in the world and have invested time and time again trying to get it right.
England have always been top 6 from what I can remember in the world rankings and even bring out songs such as 'Footballs coming home'.
I hope England qualify tonight as I do every campagin as I wont have anything else better to watch next summer.
I love Wales but it dosent mean I have to hate England. Unless England are playing Wales, Id like them to win (other than Scotland).
Ive never seen England win a tournament but they should of by now really, Im 38.
Ive seen lesser countries lift a trophy. |

Ahh forgive me so 100% of the 18,000 Polish fans will have brought tickets with money earned with hard graft and working every possible hour they can, i dread to think how many England fans will have brought there tickets with job seekers... Im English and proud but im not proud of our football team or the number of fans who make are country look like fools! |

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound |
I predict they will kick balls around on a grassy surface. Some men will roll around on the grassy surface. Some will fondle each other in an aggressive manner to hide the fondling.
I predict the tenor and bass sections of choir will be depleted tonight.

No no its ok I havent taken anything personal. You asked 'Who cares' and I suppose I got there first.
I used to watch horrific scences of English fans fighting in France/Belgium and Germany doing the old 'WW2' thing.
Same with my club team (cardiff).
These thugs have nothing to do with the teams/s they associate themselves with.
We have a Cardiff v Swansea game coming up and no matter what they do it will be trouble.
Its a 4pm Sunday game giving everyone a chance to get pissed first. |

best tell FIFA then..
they seem to rate them higher than the rest of the UK.."
I think currently people are more realistic but it hasnt always bee nthat way.
It came across to me that England were expecting to win things in the past.
I dont know where FIFA get there rankings from or infact how they come up with half their decisions.
It is known to be corrupt though, or at least in the past |

And on a side issue, has one of Steven Gerrards 50 yard Hollywood passes ever actually found their target ?"

Boruc to play out of his skin, save after save after save, Poland to nick a goal and play off it is.
In reality England could score 2 or 3 and qualify straight, only wish we were in same position. Thankfully wee ginger got us going in right direction |

They will do the usual then, Swansea will rip up the toilets, then seats and fight with the police (inside the ground).
Cardiff will attempt to throw bricks through the coaches and get to the Swansea fans.
The police will be in the middle so after all the coaches have left and been escorted back, Cardiff fans will then fight with the remaining police for 2 hours.
Bunch of pricks the lot of them, I hope they prove me wrong this time |

Lol think your going to be proven right already saying police at every train station between Swansea and Cardiff. Can't see why they can't be happy to have 2 welsh teams in the premiership. |

I predict that whatever the result, sooner or later the English media will crucify the players & management & will have a scandal or two hidden up their sleeves to be dealt at strategic moments in time - tomorrow if England draw or lose!!
Anyone would thing that large expanses of our media were unpatriotic & foreign owned, or something! |

For one team the game means Copacabana beach & the pressure that that brings & to the other its a dead rubber except for the tens of thousands of Poles - who don't exactly get their fair crack of the whip within our media - who'll be there supporting their nation;
Scoreline? - it's very much like betting on the Grand National, who knows???
Okay, then: 1-1, sorry |

Cannot believe they've taken Carrick off for Lampard, 1-0 up with 20 mins left and the only thing that matters tonight is winning, lets take off our best holding midfielder....wtf??
Don't care if we win 4-0 or lose 2-1 it's a crazy decision!! |

"Have we won then? Is it all over and we're off the Brazil?
Well I am! "
Hope you've been saving...
The news has just quoted some of the prices for flights etc...
The three group matches (if in group A) are 1700+ miles between games which for one is either 2 days on a coach followed by four days on a boat or flights for £750 Hotel rooms going up from £70 a night to £450, I'd love to do it.
I'd love to be able to afford to do it... |

"Gerrard will grimace a lot
England will win 2-1
"
I thought he had a big grin in his face before and after his goal the grimace was in fat franks I guess he had a bite of a dodgy pie while warming the bench. |
