It all depends on the cause of the swelling. I suspect it's unlikely to be a bruise or contusion and certainly not a sprain! Have you considered the possibility of a boil? 
If that is the cause then the remedy is Nurse Evie and her bag of tricks with Nurse Moody to assist and hold the camera.  |
