Tough one here - do you put an x on the end of a message to a couple? Dont want to give the wrong idea!

Me too x it's a habit I have, which might be odd for a male but I always have so I think it's fine and never been told otherwise. Only thing I been asked before is ' what does the x mean?' Lol

I once sent a message to tonys boss and put xxx at the end!!! So I sent another message apologising for the xxx only to put xxx at the end of that one to lol x

Yes of course it's ok. It's widely accepted as a friendly finish to a friendly email, nothing more. It won't be interpreted by the guy of the couple believing you are in love with him with a desire to run away together, well not unless they are incredibly stupid.

I often have to actually remember to use xs. I mostly forget. It's not a habit I have ever developed.

Good point!

When you're calling your boss a "wanker!!"..I find putting the xx on the end makes it look less serious, softens the blow and stops you getting sacked!

...whilst still calling him a wanker!

sometimes that's how you know who's written the message you get from a couple, If he's written it there will be no x's lol

If I get xxx's I send xxx's but I specifically say who they are for. I sometimes send a hand shake or high five for the gentleman to avoid confusion. If they are bi I might send 1 kiss for the bro just so I don't seem gheyist.
