Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

France is experiencing another revolt according to a piece in R4 this evening. Workers have been protesting against the unions to be allowed to work in retail late nights and on Sundays.

The retail therapy as weekend and evening pleasure activity is hitting France.

Have we lost or gained from Sunday opening and late night shopping?

There's very little I admire in the French, other than their wine and the fact they don't just lie down and get fucked up the arse if their government tries to impose policies they don't like. Jesus, if only we still had a bit if that. As it is, teachers go in strike for a day and you'd think we were back to The Winter of Discontent.

Actually, their wine's not as good as it was, certainly not the stuff they allow to be exported.

What was the question again?

Do you want to go wine shopping on Sunday?
