Should "gambling sites"on TV... be banned

If people want to gamble they will, be that on the tv, internet, bookies, casinos... where are you going to stop banning things?
Does mean late night tv can be a bit shit though. |

I try to stay away from telly as much as possible. I think about it and all I see is the gambling, the chatlines, the endless advertisement for loans and then television doctors and hosts telling people to sort their shit out.
Good old television, providing the vice and the cure at the same time. |

Erm, forgive me for thinking outside the box here, but i usually just pick up the telly remote, press a button, and hey presto, the channel turns over and no more casino! If you dn't like something something on telly, don't watch it! Simple! |

so you channel hope on breaks if your watching a program? come on who does that, if I watching something I just endure what adds are on till what i'm watching comes back on |

Oh, let him keep on shouting and missing the point. They've banned smoking advertisement and they're trying to curb alcohol advertisement but they're not bothered about gambling as a) it brings in a shitload of tax money and b) weeeeelll, no one gets hurt do they? Apart from those future gambling addicts who, having had it spoonfed to them on TV that it's OK to do, then proceed to gamble away their homes and become alcoholics and fuck anyone that gets in the way of their 'wee flutter'.
