So I had a clear out before, sorting my bedroom out and trying to condense things. Came across a forgotten bag in the storage chest I put all my comics and film props in.

Open it up, it's the ex girlfriend's vibrators and they have MELTED!!!

Well I was all kinds of 'WHAT THE ABSOLUTE FUCK???'

I've had some do that, some types of plastics don't like being kept with other types or possibly a leaking battery?

Oh no batteries. In that case it's a plastic/silicone not agreeing with another kind issue

Hahaha no I was an Art Director for a short while and I kept some of my props and had another project that never happened.

A sawn off Terminator 2 style shotgun, a micro uzi, a Socom MK23, varied items of army clothing, special effects kit, fireworks fuse, smoke bombs etc

The comics are mostly Punisher and then Marvel main event story arcs

Possibly. Some toys behave in very odd ways.

You tellin me, we had a possessed rampant rabbit in her bedroom. Turned itself on in the middle of the night and somehow found its way under the covers and between her legs...

Some materials can't be kept next to each other, we found this out by melting ours also, we now keep them wrapped in micro fibre cloths x

Yeah mine was melted but I freaked when I found it was still wet and stuck all over my hand. I ran to the bathroom sink faster than I have ran in years to wash it off before my hand melted next LOL

Some plastics have a shelf life then they start to return to there original state of molten. Rubber wheels in work did it.

Makes sense since latexes and rubbers etc are made with oil. If they dont dry out, they degrade. Still scared me for a moment though lol you say wheels did the same?
